Hugs are like medicine for life. They can heal us. They can keep us healthy. They can make us happy. They can keep us happy. They are enjoyable anytime, but especially good in the morning. They are the perfect way to say something silently, in any language.
Saving Consumers Money
Anytime someone in power mentions saving consumers money, it means it will eventually cost consumers more, and some company or person will make more money.
Coca-Cola and peanuts
Two generations have grown up without the experience of putting a package of Lance salted peanuts into a 6.5 oz. bottle of original formula Coca-Cola.
The Life I Didn’t Live
I have a weakness in perspective. I look at the life I have lived and compare it to the life I dreamed of living. There are so many places where it is easy to percieve failure and success; I focus on the “failures” and judge my life from that view. But it’s false judgement. Our lives are what we wanted to do, what we did, where we succeeded, and where we failed, not some zoomed in, pixelated, binary (success/failure) picture without context.

Perfect Discipline

Wet Wipes
For the first time, I heard someone use “just like when you stopped using toilet paper and started using wet wipes” as a general phrase referring to improvement.
Wait… I never heard anyone say that.
Coping
You pick up the bag with the frayed edges, with the worn and discolored handle, and you take your pain with you. That’s how you get to the next day.
Real Love
The purest expression of love is putting someone else’s wants and needs ahead of your own.
