Depends on if you think it’s the distance between the points, or the distance they had to travel to meet each other.
Reflection
Reflection is a big part of how we are. We measure ourselves in a context that didn’t exist when we made the decision. That we feel ashamed means we aren’t monsters. It means we are good people who care.
Hugs
Hugs are like medicine for life. They can heal us. They can keep us healthy. They can make us happy. They can keep us happy. They are enjoyable anytime, but especially good in the morning. They are the perfect way to say something silently, in any language.
Saving Consumers Money
Anytime someone in power mentions saving consumers money, it means it will eventually cost consumers more, and some company or person will make more money.
Coca-Cola and peanuts
Two generations have grown up without the experience of putting a package of Lance salted peanuts into a 6.5 oz. bottle of original formula Coca-Cola.
The Life I Didn’t Live
I have a weakness in perspective. I look at the life I have lived and compare it to the life I dreamed of living. There are so many places where it is easy to percieve failure and success; I focus on the “failures” and judge my life from that view. But it’s false judgement. Our lives are what we wanted to do, what we did, where we succeeded, and where we failed, not some zoomed in, pixelated, binary (success/failure) picture without context.
Context
Information without context is the enemy of truth.
Snoring
Snoring is what men and dogs do when they’ve gotten everything they want.
Perfect Discipline
The most amazing observation about my systemic lack of discipline is my perfect discipline in filling up empty ice trays.
