It’s a hard lesson learning that variations in one’s routine don’t mean shit to dogs.
I support open dialog and various perspectives in public forums. I am not a supporter of folks who ignore facts in that dialog. Truth is variable, facts are not. It is quite possible to analyze the same facts and discern a different truth.
I was gifted an air fryer. It turned me into a grilled cheese junkie.

In memory of my son’s suicide…
My son was born December 15, 1989, at 6:04 PM in Atlanta. We named him Jack Christopher; Jack after my father and Christopher because we liked it. He’ll go by Christopher (most likely Chris or Jack once his chums get a hold of it). Fatherhood has seemed so natural most of the time that I wonder how I made it this long. (4/1/90)
Dad loved:
Mama
His family
His church
My dog
Coffee
His shop
His computer
Ice cream
Pineapple
Peaches
Reading
Music
Hugs
Thoughts:
He was my compass, my example, my model. He set the bar by which I measure myself, and the world. I have known no finer person than my father. What a precious gift he gave me.
Jack was blessed. His life was full and rich in what matters. And he was a blessing to those who knew him. It was my blessing to be his son.
Discipline is “doing what has to be done, doing it as well as you can do it, doing it when it has to be done, doing it that way all the time.”

It’s really awful when you are just overdue for a bad day. Not one where bad shit happens, but one where you handle everything badly.
